Sunflower Power!
George McKim's sunflower lino cut prints will brighten your room and your outlook. Sunflowers have always been on my list of favorites. I love their happy yellow faces. I chose the black and white print to feature because I liked the way the cuts appear on the "face" of the flower. The print below it has such beautiful colors and design, it needed to be featured here as well. George's shop carries some absolutely beautiful work. Don't' forget to check out his blog too.

This is just a small sampling of the kinds of items that can be found in the wonderful shop of Crafty Moose. From French beaded flowers, to dolls and mini works of original art, this shop has something for everyone. I chose these items because each one has special meaning for me. I love beaded flowers and like to collect Santas. Venice,Italy is on my list of the top 10 places to visit, but unfortunately I missed Burano. The picture below has convinced me that next time I go, Burano will be on my list of places to see. Get your holiday shopping list ready and pay this shop a visit. "I have been crafting for as long as I can remember. I am self-taught and have enjoyed painting, needlework, quilting, polymer clay and jewelry making. Most recently, I have found myself drawn to beads and have returned to the art of french beaded flowers. I enjoy making original, one-of-a-kind butterflies & dragonflies. I am also introducing a new line of one-of-a-kind beaded art dolls and suncatchers. Custom requests are welcome. All my items are lovingly created in a smoke-free, pet-free environment.The name Craftymoose came about because of my love of crafts and my husband's love of moose. My avatar is the head of a 4'+ tall moose I made him one Christmas!"
