New Lady for my Display

I found this amazing Grecian bust for my jewelry display and have been experimenting with her new look. She is lacking shoulders so I have wrapped her in soft beige fabric and tried to hang one of my necklaces around her, but don't think the results are quite right. I would love to have your opinions/suggestions. I forgot to mention that I chose her because she looks just like the head I chose for my business card.

I really think your display looks great! The bust is what you have in your avatar, right? I think it is a great piece. Other than padding the shoulders under the draped fabric, I can't think of a way to show off your beautiful pieces.

The moment I saw the bust I thought right away that it looks just like the one in your avatar! Great job finding it.

Have you tried using a hanger under the bust? That way the hanger gives a shoulder shape which you can pad up and wrap with cloth.

Thanks so much for looking. I will try the hanger and padding. Tried newspaper and that didn't work well.

Terrific bust--and I would never have thought of using a hanger. Paper mache (sp?) shoulders might be fun if the hanger trick doesn't work for you.

Lucky girl
I bought the stuff to make paper mache shoulders. Just haven't decided to tackle that project yet.
